To enlighten each individual through high quality body therapy and massage education as ongoing project.　To help to give enjoyment by being the therapist through leaning higher education and know how, by grounding (using the universe and　earth energy) for all healing work.

To help teaching for different communities, “Massage for Family tm” to have happy and healthy relationships at home basis.

Growth continues with learning new technique, knowledge and wisdom from around world and sharing this knowledge to communities and professional therapists around the world.

Chikako was born and raised in Japan until 22 years old and was moved to Hawaii in 1987. She was scuba instructor for 10 years till 1997.　She was injured on the job for herniated disks, Lumbar 2,3,4,5.
Her doctor said “do you want to hold your children and quit your job, or keep lifting heavy scuba tanks, and you eventually can not hold baby or anything.
She quit her job immediatly and started receiving Alternative medicine treatment instead of Western surgery.Massage 2-3 times a week, Physical therapist twice a week, chiropractor 1-2 times a week, kept doing so for two and half years.　Her back pain and discomfort became manageable without surgery.　She confirmed from her own experience that Alternative medicine could work and help to get well on people’s physical and mental and spiritual aspect.
One day, when she was helping as translator for Massage school, her master said on her 3rd day of the job, “you need to become massage therapist and teacher”. At the same time, her acupuncture master she said to her“I can serve to anyone in the world my technique with one needle”. 2 days later in 2001, she entered the most difficult school in US for learning medical rehabilitation & sports massage intensive program. She graduated from? the school with an honorable nick name of “super woman” from principal of school on the graduation day.

After graduate school, continuing education with various techniques for example; Lomilomi massage advance treatment, Cranial sacrum, University of Hawaii dissection for massage therapist human’s full body class completed,　SPA training, Feng-shui counseling for body, land and house, etc.

Chikako Hoshino-Powers started her own massage business after graduated and then facilitate her academy in 2004.　She teaches at her own academy called “Academy of SMART Therapy”, and also continues educational programs at various resort and hotels and body therapy school.

Her speciality is Medical rehabilitation & sports massage, fascia and connective tissue therapy and energy release work using her own technique, ability and knowledge.
